Georgetown is a prestigious neighborhood and one of the District’s most desirable locations for high-end real estate, but  notoriously difficult for developers to navigate. Density, historic preservation, and The Old Georgetown Board all pose challenges for builders and architects; yet in recent years a number of new projects have been approved. Among them, 1055 High, The Grace, The Montrose and The Elliott.

Currently, two luxury condominium projects have completed the approval process, one after a notably lengthy struggle. The Four Seasons Residences is now under construction, and The Elliott is actively selling.
