Foxhall Village Development

New Single Family Homes in Foxhall Village DC

Foxhall Village is an elegant enclave of luxury historic homes bordered by Glover Archbold Park. Only 350 residences make up this small neighborhood of Tudor architecture and tree-lined streets. It was built in the 1920’s and 1930’s to mimic an English town, and offers very little possibility for new development, however the custom community of 1801 Foxhall was recently added. 1801 Foxhall is a luxury custom home community spanning 8.5 acres of the former Brady estate. The development includes 27 single family detached lots for custom homes construction by one of the community’s approved builders. 1801 Foxhall is adjacent to Glover Archbold Park and Whitehaven Park. Previous owner of the full 17-acre parcel was The Casey Foundation, which originally wanted to donate the estate to the District a mayoral residence, annexing adjacent federal parkland, but the plan was nixed by neighborhood opposition. The land was sold to St Patrick’s Episcopal Day School, with proceeds donated to the Salvation Army instead.St. Patrick’s split off 8 acres, sold to Elm Street Development for their 1801 Foxhall project.
